Transforming Youth Sports So Sports Can Transform Youth

Take the Postive Coaching Alliance Double Goad Coach On line Course

Providing Coaches and Managers with Tools

to help your athletes succeed on and off the field. Coaches who complete the Double-Goal Coach Course will be exposed to the most up-to-date, research-based strategies, tools and techniques in sports psychology and Positive Coaching.

What is a Double-Goal Coach?
A Double-Goal Coach strives to win (goal #1) and, even more importantly, (goal #2) uses Positive Coaching to teach life lessons.

Who can become a Calgary Minor Softball Double-Goal Coach?
Every  Coach, Assistant Coach or Manager

Double-Goal Coach Course ensures that all our coaches have built their knowledge of what Calgary Minor Softball calls "Honoring the Game"

How to sign up to become a Double Goal Coach

                                                      Double-Goal Coach Course

Benefits of becoming a Double-Goal Coach
  • You will learn how to pursue winning, while at the same time developing positive character traits in each of your athletes.
  • You will also learn how to help parents become "Second-Goal " Parents. Remember, goal #2 is teaching positive life lessons. Second-Goal Parents actually let the coaches coach and will be supportive of you throughout the season!
  • Supplement your knowledge of the game with ready-to-use sport psychology techniques that are proven to help you create the best learning environment for your athletes - where players give 100% effort at every practice and every game.
